The Trenton Educational Foundation was established in 2008 by a group of community leaders who recognized that the quality of an educational system, and the vitality of the community it serves, are intertwined. These residents want to ensure the continued success of our current students, as well as that of future generations. The Foundation’s mission is to help achieve and maintain an extra margin of excellence by employing private resources to supplement traditional school funding.
Our focus is on encouraging excellence through creative teaching, facilitating student development, and fostering community/school partnerships. The Foundation will fund major projects, but it also will enable faculty members to undertake a number of innovative classroom projects at all grade levels by awarding numerous “mini” and “collaborative” grants. Funds from the Foundation will be used to support six core areas of education.

Alumni Directory Activity
If you recieved a postcard in the mail like the one shown here we want you to know this is a valid activity and not a scam of any sort. The Trenton Public School District has partnered with Harris Connect to help build an accurate alumni directory for THS graduates. As an alumni you have full control over what information is shared in this directory and you will also be offered the opportunity to buy a copy of the directory once this effort is completed. Trenton currently doesn't have an effective way to communicate with alumni today for major events, class reunions, etc. This is an effort to help improve this situaton for those who need to communicate with alumni. You may also chocse to not participate in the directory or even limit the information included in the directory. The choice is yours.
Please support this effort and help us spread the word with your friends about.
Our FAQ page can help answer many questions about this program and about Harris Connect. Harris Connect is the company working with Trenton to build an accurate alumni directory.
