Trenton Educational Foundation - Timeline for Grants

2026-27

STAFF EDUCATIONAL GRANTS Cycle (up to $3,000): 

· September 14 - October 12, 2026 - Applications are accepted.

· October 13 - 15, 2026 (or Oct. 19) - Grants Committee meets to review submitted proposals.

· October 21, 2026 – TEF Board approval of grants.

· October 26, 2026 - Board of Education approval of grants. 

· October 27, 2026 - Notification of grant status to applicants.

MINI-EDUCATIONAL GRANTS Cycle (up to $1,000):

· January 4 – January 25, 2027 - Applications are accepted. 

· January 27 – February 3, 2027 - Grants Committee meets to review submitted proposals.

· February 17, 2027 - TEF Board Approval of grants.

· February 22, 2027 - Board of Education approval of grants.

· February 23, 2027 - Notification of grant status to applicants.

COLLABORATIVE EDUCATIONAL GRANTS Cycle (over $3,000):

· Applications are accepted throughout the year.

· Grants Committee will meet periodically (as needed) to review submitted proposals.

· Presentations may be requested.

WELCOME GRANTS ($250):

· August 25, 2026 - Presented at the Welcome Meeting for new teachers.
